The LORD Challenges Job

Then the LORD answered Job from the whirlwind:
“Who is this that questions my wisdom
with such ignorant words?
Brace yourself like a man,
because I have some questions for you,
and you must answer them.
“Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?
Tell me, if you know so much.
 Who determined its dimensions
and stretched out the surveying line?
What supports its foundations,
and who laid its cornerstone
as the morning stars sang together
and all the angels[fn] shouted for joy?
“Who kept the sea inside its boundaries
as it burst from the womb,
and as I clothed it with clouds
and wrapped it in thick darkness?
For I locked it behind barred gates,
limiting its shores.
I said, ‘This far and no farther will you come.
Here your proud waves must stop!’
“Have you ever commanded the morning to appear
and caused the dawn to rise in the east?
Have you made daylight spread to the ends of the earth,
to bring an end to the night’s wickedness?
 As the light approaches,
the earth takes shape like clay pressed beneath a seal;
it is robed in brilliant colors.
 The light disturbs the wicked
and stops the arm that is raised in violence.
“Have you explored the springs from which the seas come?
Have you explored their depths?
Do you know where the gates of death are located?
Have you seen the gates of utter gloom?
Do you realize the extent of the earth?
Tell me about it if you know!
 “Where does light come from,
and where does darkness go?
Can you take each to its home?
Do you know how to get there?
But of course you know all this!
For you were born before it was all created,
and you are so very experienced!
“Have you visited the storehouses of the snow
or seen the storehouses of hail?
(I have reserved them as weapons for the time of trouble,
for the day of battle and war.)
Where is the path to the source of light?
Where is the home of the east wind?
“Who created a channel for the torrents of rain?
Who laid out the path for the lightning?
Who makes the rain fall on barren land,
in a desert where no one lives?
Who sends rain to satisfy the parched ground
and make the tender grass spring up?
“Does the rain have a father?
Who gives birth to the dew?
Who is the mother of the ice?
Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens?
For the water turns to ice as hard as rock,
and the surface of the water freezes.
“Can you direct the movement of the stars—
binding the cluster of the Pleiades
or loosening the cords of Orion?
Can you direct the sequence of the seasons
or guide the Bear with her cubs across the heavens?
Do you know the laws of the universe?
Can you use them to regulate the earth?
“Can you shout to the clouds
and make it rain?
 Can you make lightning appear
and cause it to strike as you direct?
Who gives intuition to the heart
and instinct to the mind?
Who is wise enough to count all the clouds?
Who can tilt the water jars of heaven
when the parched ground is dry
and the soil has hardened into clods?
“Can you stalk prey for a lioness
and satisfy the young lions’ appetites
as they lie in their dens
or crouch in the thicket?
Who provides food for the ravens
when their young cry out to God
and wander about in hunger?
(Job 38 NLT)

The and Suddenly’s

Matthew 8:23-28 explains how Jesus got into the boat and started across the lake with his disciples. (and) Suddenly, a fierce storm struck the lake, with waves breaking into the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him up, shouting, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” Jesus responded, “Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm. Brothers and sisters, we all run into those and “Suddenly” moments where unexpected dangers come and we see our faith is not as strong as we thought it was. And Suddenly, the world is faced with a virus which has act

Nevertheless, we must rest in the fact that He is also able to rescue us from the storms of everyday life: such as sickness, unemployment, marriage and family problems, and even death because 1st Corinthians 15:55 says “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” Those who trust in the finished works of Jesus Christ won’t experience eternal damnation which is the sting of death. Be not afraid he rebukes even the fiercest storms.

Happy On the sixth Floor

Sitting here listening to Hillsong United Broken Vessels… live show at the Sea of Galilee I’m Amazed that I made it to the age of 60.

Truly God’s grace is amazing, His love has sustained me throughout these 60 years!

I’m so happy! I’m sitting here meditating upon the Lord, worshipping, praising and honoring him, oh what a joy, I can’t hold back these tears!

Before I was saved, I celebrated my birthday by going out drinking and in my own definition, having a good time.

Having a good time now is being in the presence of the Lord. The pleasure I seek now comes from the Living God… he’s so loving, thoughtful, and very kind!

Like the rushing of many waters God has overwhelmed my heart! I’m breathless and astonished by his wisdom…the power of His might. He bought this broken vessel to life!

God’s mercy and Grace… it’s so amazing, so sweet…He pulled me up out of the miry clay…he took me off the streets. God makes me complete.

Continually growing me in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, I will serve him for the rest of my life! I’m so looking forward to crossing over to the other side and taking my very last flight!

How I yearn to see the face of the Living God, my creator, my best friend, my Savior and my battle axe. God is my Mighty Fortress, He always has my back!

Watch “Greatest Christian Motivation ► Don’t You Dare Give Up ᴴᴰ” on YouTube

For some of you life is good. Your journey is pleasant and you are content, and quite established. However, there are some people who are going through extreme turmoil and distress. They are living in misery and pain. Please watch this video. It is amazingly motivational. And if you see a situation in this video that resembles yourself or someone you might know… Say an earnest prayer for yourself or whomever is going through distress. Let’s make a practice of praying for one another. Even when we hear a siren on their way to rescue someone, pray that all is well with those involved in accidents or physical or mental sickness. Some people hear sirens quite often…in their case they will be praying quite often.

Draw me nearer!

One of the most beneficial prayers we can pray is to ask God to draw us nearer to him. Why is this prayer so beneficial? Because God knows all, God sees all, and he has all power. Who better to draw nearer to? God knows was coming our way even before we know it. He knows the hearts of everyone we come face-to-face with. He knows every trick and plot of our haters.

Therefore, as we draw near to God, he gives us insight on how to respond to criticism and evil plots and difficult situations. Furthermore, it is amazing how God tells us what to say just at the right time.

One day at work one of my  coworkers seemed a bit sad. I shared a testimony with him about the time when I was homeless and how God quickly got me out of that situation. My coworker didn’t respond right away to my testimony, but about 15 minutes later he thanked me for sharing my testimony and then he said your testimony is exactly what I’m going through right now….me and my wife. He said he actually felt better after listening to what I had to go through  and how God  came to my rescue . You see, God knew what was in this man’s heart but I didn’t. I explained how God brought me out of a dark place like clockwork. I told him that we ended up in a nice shelter and only had to stay there for less than a month before I found a job and a house!

I am so thankful that God often uses me as his instrument, as his mouthpiece to tell someone something he wants them to know. God’s love for us is truly Like a Hurricane! It’s powerful and exhilarating and ultimately blows us into another dimension. If only the world would know, could understand… even a small measure of God’s love for us, there will be extreme excitement in serving him. His love for us draws us nearer to him! Oh How He Loves Us! His love is like a magnet ever drawing Us near to him! The only thing we have to do is desire to draw near to him! And as we draw near to him we find ourselves overwhelmed with joy, peace, and hope even in the midst of the trials and tribulations!

During the time when I was homeless, it was like I had a tunnel vision, a fine tuned focus, that everything was going to be alright that God already fixed it… it’s just that I had to come to the end of it and see it… the manifestation of God’s great grace! Draw me nearer Lord God! for in drawing nearer to you I’m empowered through Him! God is full of compassion, mercy, and grace and His love is incomprehensible!!!!

Forbidden Fruit

Proverbs 9  14:17 says she sits in her doorway on the heights overlooking the city. She calls out to men going by who are minding their own business. Come in with me, she urges the simple. To those who lack good judgement, she says, stolen water is refreshing;  food eaten in secret taste the best!

Something seems to be hypnotic and intoxicating about wickedness. One sin leads to another, sinful Behavior seems more exciting than the Christian Life.

That is why many people put aside all thought of wisdom’s sumptuous banquet in order to eat the stolen food of folly. Don’t be deceived, Sin is dangerous. Before reaching for forbidden fruit, take a long look at what happens to those who eat it.

 An Encounter with Truth

God we thank you so much that you have allowed us to see yet another new day. Lord God thank you for providing our needs and for taking care of not just us but our family members and loved ones. In the name of Jesus Lord God, continuously help us to see the error of our own ways , and help us to be willing to change those things, repent of those things that are not pleasing in your sight. Thank You for Your Divine help Lord God for we cannot do these things all by ourselves.

The test of knowing Jesus Christ is outline in 1st John chapter 2 starting at verse 3. It tells us “Now by this we know that we know him, if we keep his Commandments. He Who Says I know him and does not keep his Commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps his word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in him. He who says he abides in him out himself also to walk just as he walked.” Brothers and sisters what this scripture is saying in plain language is anyone who claims to be a Christian, a Christ follower, yet disobeys biblical principles , is a liar. Overall John is saying that once you have an experience with the Christ you will have a change of heart and a change of mind. However anyone who continuously live the old sinful life on purpose have not really truly met Jesus. They have never had a true encounter with the Christ nor with Holy Spirit. Overall this scripture is revealing the fact that the truth of the word of God must be the controlling  influence  to a person who truly knows Jesus Christ.
