The Bible has much to say about unmotivated people. It says: Lazy people are soon poor; hard workers get rich. A wise youth harvests in the summer, but one who sleeps during harvest is a disgrace. A hard worker has plenty of food, but a person who chases fantasies has no sense. Lazy people irritate their employers, like vinegar to the teeth or smoke in the eyes. Work hard and become a leader; be lazy and become a slave. Lazy people don’t even cook the game they catch, but the diligent make use of everything they find. Lazy people want much but get little, but those who work hard will prosper. A lazy person’s way is blocked with briers, but the path of the upright is an open highway. (You will find these sayings in Proverbs chapter 10, 12, 13, 14, & 15. Brothers and sisters, God stresses we are diligent, busy in this world. There is no time to waste; God did not put us here to do nothing. We all are responsible for finding our purpose and carrying it out. Let us stay focused, steadfast, immovable and deeply rooted and grounded in carrying out Gods plans and purposes in our lives.
