Controversies Concerning Ethnic Groups

Many of us are caught up in worldly controversies concerning ethnic groups primarily because we’ve excluded our creator and ignored the wisdom and knowledge and awesome handiwork of God in creating the human race. Much of humanity has forgotten that God is not a respecter of person. He does not love me any more than he loves you. Yes, he favors those who strive to draw closer to Him but even those He favor go through trials and tribulations just like Jesus Christ did. Nevertheless, prejudices originating from cultural diversities has been a popular topic for a very long time. The “it’s all about me attitude” of the human race causes them to be disrespectful of the fact that God made everyone unique. Why can’t people understand that apparently God loves color and diversity? As a matter of fact why can’t people understand that God made us with the same characteristics yet we all differ in certain physical, mental and spiritual aspects?
People lie and deny their ethnic group and some ignore or maybe they are unaware of the fact that we are the magnificent outcome of God’s creatively beautiful handiwork. Psalm 139:14 NLT says: Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous–how well I know it. If humanity appreciated God’s workmanship as much as David did, this world would be a more beautiful and interesting world in which we live. However, much of humanity fail to recognize their natural beauty that radiates from the inside out. It does not matter our ethnic group. Diversity in ethnicity is not only healthy, it is exciting!
Life is too short to stifle the excitement and wonder of God’s workmanship. Brothers and sisters, everyday precious time is wasted focusing on things other than that which lines up with God’s plans and purposes. Even though there is a lot of injustice that goes along with cultural diversity. Let us also keep in mind, that there is no injustice on God’s part. God made us different but he also gave us the opportunity for Him (God the Holy Spirit) to dwell on the inside of us to bring us together on one accord so we can squash all this mess.
Accepting Jesus Christ in our lives as our personal Lord and Savior is the beginning of the great transformation of the mind and heart that brings about unity of all cultures in our society. Many of us are passing up the opportunity to become one who makes a positive impact on the world while reducing the chaos and confusion. God gave everyone unique talents in which we must strive to find out what they are and where they are best utilized in this society. Sadly, many of us (the human race) use our God-given talents to promote Satan who is the author of chaos, confusion and division. For instance, some of those partaking of the Shaun King saga do not realize that they are recruits to Satan’s team of onlookers and scoffers who are part of the demonic seeds that Satan is planting into our society. Satan is planting malice into the hearts and minds of people who thrive off of recognition, fame, and fortune. Easy targets are those who get a thrill out of glorifying themselves instead of God.
