Bitterness Steals Blessings

Bitterness is a harsh feelings that results in hostility towards others. The Bible teaches us to “get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.” The Bible reminds us of the good fruits of being “kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ forgave us” read and study Ephesians 4:31-32
When we give in to bitterness and allow it to rule our hearts we become unbalanced in our spirit. . Such unchecked fury and anger often lead to destruction of ourselves and others.

It is not comfortable in the presence of a bitter person.  Bitterness is sin against God, and those who continue in bitterness will not inherit His kingdom see Galatians 5:19-2. Furthermore, Hebrews 12:15 warns us to “see to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.” We must always be on guard and not allow “bitter roots” to grow in our hearts; such roots will cause us to fall short of the grace of God. God wants His people live in love, joy, peace, and holiness—not in bitterness.
