Trust not in Man

Psalms 118:8 reminds us:   It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. People change, but God does not. Malachi3:8 states: For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore, ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Until we began walking with God, all we know how to do is sin. We might think we are walking up right but…It is an unsaved person’s nature to sin. That is what they do. Jeremiah 13:23 tells us…Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.

There is no need of getting upset…if your partner is unsaved…then he or she are doing what they are suppose to do…SIN…  Just pray they are saved soon before you lose your mind to the partner he/she is working for. (It’s certainly not God)

It not healthy to be caught up trying to fix someone else when you cannot fix yourself. That is what the cross is all about…God came down and rescued us from our own sinful nature. That is what the gift is …however; some people could care less about this kind of gift. They cannot see it… so many do not think it matters.    Have you ever wondered why there are so many heartless people in the world? Woe is he/she…I sympathize and pray for them to get on board the freedom train.

The point I am driving at is no matter what, we must trust God to fix anything that is broken in our mate or us.  The biggest mistake we make is not to confer with God about who He chose for us. We be…LOOKING FOR LOVE IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES. We all have issues and are broken in many ways. It is up to us to ask God to show us the error of our OWN ways. We are only responsible for our actions and ways. Your significant other will not be standing before God with you.

Listen to what Proverbs 25:19 has to say about this Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint. But hold on ladies…do not get too happy yet. Listen to this. Remember God is a just God.Proverbs 21:19 …It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and angry woman.

When we decide to start working on fixing ourselves, (letting God fix us) so we are in agreement with Him, He is not going to let anyone get away with treating us bad. Isaiah 54: 17 reminds us…No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. It might seem like they are getting away with murder, and we might go through some strong lessons, but rest assured…help is on its way!

Until then, we just have bend on down like the mighty palm tree and pop back up. We cannot afford to try to stand and be full of pride like an oak tree. Oak tree get broke up during hurricanes.

I do not know about you, but the wages of sin is just a bit too high for me…I was fed up with all the hurricanes so I had to back up and re-group. At least now, I am no longer condemned… but forgiven and continuously developing in the Grace and Knowledge of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Thanks to the Lord for such perfect plan for our eternal salvation!
